TAMU SAIL
Sophomores Advancing in Leadership
The Big Program was established during SAIL's 2020-2021 year. Their mission is to serve as mentors to sophomores in their crew family.
Unlike directors who are in charge of committees and crews, bigs solely focus on the 8 sophomores in their crew to help them grow within SAIL and form deep & meaningful friendships.
Bigs plan at least one crew event per month as well as attend general meetings and committee events with their crew kids.
At the beginning of each month, SAIL celebrates Big Week where there is one huge event planned by the bigs of SAIL.

THE BIG
PROGRAM
The Big Program is run by executive staff alongside an elected former SAIL member who specializes in ensuring the Big Program is running smoothly. Their role is to coordinate effective communication between the bigs and executive staff as well as ensure bigs are fulfilling their mission statement.
